4 Hour AZ SAFE: Arizona Responsible Individual Online CE (#15825)

This course is specifically designed for Arizona mortgage
professionals who have already completed the 8 Hours of annual NMLS-approved
continuing education and need 4 more hours of education to satisfy their
Responsible Individual requirement.

As part of the mortgage banker and mortgage broker renewal
process, the responsible individual (RI) must complete 12 units (1 unit = 50
minutes) of continuing education prior to December 31st of each calendar
year.  A copy of the certificate(s) must
be sent to AZ-DIFI with the renewal checklist (which will be available on NMLS.
The certificate must show each course and units taken.

This course will cover the following topics within five
separate modules:

  • Module 1: Duties of the Responsible Individual
  • Module 2: Arizona Required Conduct
  • Module 3: Prohibited Conduct
  • Module 4: Arizona Unique Laws & Policies
  • Module 5: A Refresher on Fair Lending Laws

This brand new continuing education elective course is approved by the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) (#15656) and meets Arizona’s requirement for one (1) hours of Arizona-specific education.  Licensees must complete a minimum of eight (8) hours of certified continuing education (CE) in order to renew licenses. The education must include at least:

    • Three (3) hours of federal law and regulations;
    • Two (2) hours of ethics which includes fraud, consumer protection, and fair lending issues;
