Washington Designated Broker Test Prep
Individuals seeking to become a Designated Broker (DB) in
Washington must pass the Washington Designated Broker Test currently
administered by PearsonVue.
This Washington Designated Broker Test Prep Package has been
developed to help prepare licensed Washington MLO’s pass the Washington
Designated Broker Test.
What the Package Includes:
- Washington Designated
Broker Test Study Guide PDF. (This study guide has been put together based
on the WA-DFI Designated Broker Test Outline)
- A timed Refresher Course
built from Washington Designated Broker Test Study Guide PDF.
- An untimed Refresher
course built from the Washington Designated Broker Test Study Guide PDF.
This content is the exact same as the timed course, however, you will be
able to navigate through the course at a quicker pace because you don’t
have to wait for all of the audio to be read. This option is also
beneficial for individuals who only need a refresher on specific sections
or portions of the information covered on the test
- A graded practice test.
This practice test asks 50 questions (as the Designated Broker Exam does)
from a 95-question pool. Passing grade is 70%.
- An ungraded practice test.
This practice tests asks 95 questions. No passing grade needed. You can
answer the question and check your answer before moving on to the next
question.
- Individual Section
Practice Quizzes. Do you feel like you need more practice in one section
over another? We’ve got you covered. A quiz has been provided for each
section of the content. No passing grade is needed. You can answer the
question and check their answer before moving on to the next question.
Important Notes:

participant any NMLS credit. This course is simply studying material to help prepare
to sit for the Washington Designated Broker Exam.

The Designated Broker examination contains 50
scored items plus 5 unscored items. The unscored items are not identified and
will not affect a candidate’s score in any way.

The graded practice test will ask 100 questions. A passing score for this graded practice is 70% or greater. Upon completion you will receive a report of the questions you missed, which will help you decipher what areas of study you may need more focus on. Please note that this is solely study material and no course credit will be received for its completion.
The Ungraded practice test will ask 100 questions. In this format you will answer the question
and check your answer by hitting the “Check Answer” hyperlink below
the question box. By checking your answer, you will see if you answered the
question correctly, as well as the correct answer to the question. Once you have checked your answer you may
move on to the next question. At the end of the practice test you will again be
presented with a list of the questions that you missed, along with what answer
you choose and the correct answer to the question.
The Uniform State Test Study Guide & Practice Exam will cover about an hour of Uniform State Content and will be followed by a practice test of 25 questions. A score of 70% or greater must be achieved in order to receive a passing score.

The SAFE Act requires state-licensed Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs) to pass a written qualified test developed by the NMLS and administered by an approved test provider. This qualified written test is known as the National Test with Uniform State

The “SAFE 20” Flashcard Study Kit includes well over 300 questions covering the follow topics:

You have the option to use these flashcards in 2 different ways. The free version will let you answer every question without “keeping score.” This means that the cards will be sorted at random. The Leitner adaptive learning method flashcards are sorted into groups according to how well the learner knows each one in the Leitner’s learning box. The learners try to recall the solution written on a flashcard. If they succeed, they send the card to the next group. If they fail, they send it back to the first group. Each succeeding group has a longer period of time before the learner is required to revisit the cards.
