1 Hour AZ SAFE: CE Update for Arizona MLO’s Webinar [NMLS #15901]

This  brand new continuing education elective course is approved by the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) (#15901) and meets Arizona DFI’s requirement for one (1) hour of Arizona-specific education.  Licensees must complete a minimum of eight (8) hours of certified continuing education (CE) in order to renew licenses. The education must include at least:

• Three (3) hours of federal law and regulations;
• Two (2) hours of ethics which includes fraud, consumer protection, and fair lending issues;
• Two (2) hours of non-traditional lending;
•  One (1) hour of  AZ-specific education.

This 2024 1 Hour Arizona SAFE: CE Update for Arizona MLO’s course is approved by the NMLSR and meets the Arizona DFI’s requirement for 1 hour of instruction on Arizona Mortgage Law. This course will focus on license maintenance, a review of license requirements, as well as prohibited acts for MLO’s in Arizona, and preventing mortgage fraud.

Keep in mind as of June 2022 all participants must have a webcam and show themselves from the shoulders up at all times per new NMLS rules! Students will not be on display to other students for entire show but must be on camera for Instructor or Instructors Proctor to verify attendance.
