1 Hour FL SAFE: CE Update for Florida MLO’s Webinar [NMLS #15900]

This  brand new continuing education elective course is approved by the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) (#15900) and meets Florida OFR’s requirement for one (1) hour of Florida-specific education.  Licensees must complete a minimum of eight (8) hours of certified continuing education (CE) in order to renew licenses. The education must include at least:

• Three (3) hours of federal law and regulations;
• Two (2) hours of ethics which includes fraud, consumer protection, and fair lending issues;
• Two (2) hours of non-traditional lending;
•  One (1) hour of  FL-specific education.

This 2024 1 Hour Florida SAFE: CE Update for Florida MLO’s course is approved by the NMLSR and meets the Florida Office of Financial Regulation’s requirement for 1 hour of Florida-specific education and will focus on topics such as requirements that licensees must continue to meet, as well as prohibited acts and practices, mortgage fraud, and disciplinary action.

Keep in mind as of June 2022 all participants must have a webcam and show themselves from the shoulders up at all times per new NMLS rules! Students will not be on display to other students for entire show but must be on camera for Instructor or Instructors Proctor to verify attendance.
