1 Hour MD SAFE: CE Update for Maryland MLO’s Webinar [NMLS #15902]

This  brand new continuing education elective course is approved by the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) (#15902) and meets Maryland’s requirement for one (1) hour of Maryland-specific education.  Licensees must complete a minimum of eight (8) hours of certified continuing education (CE) in order to renew licenses. The education must include at least:

• Three (3) hours of federal law and regulations;
• Two (2) hours of ethics which includes fraud, consumer protection, and fair lending issues;
• Two (2) hours of non-traditional lending;
•  One (1) hour of  MD-specific education.

This 2024 1 Hour CE Update for Maryland MLO’s elective course is approved by the NMLSR and and will focus on the Maryland Mortgage Fraud Act, the Maryland Equal Credit Opportunity Act, as well as Maryland Secondary Loan Law.

Keep in mind as of June 2022 all participants must have a webcam and show themselves from the shoulders up at all times per new NMLS rules! Students will not be on display to other students for entire show but must be on camera for Instructor or Instructors Proctor to verify attendance.
