Course Format

This Utah 15 Hour State Law PE for Mortgage Loan Originators pre-licensing education course is conducted in an online setting.  Students are able to move through online courses at their own learning pace. My Mortgage Trainer, Inc. uses their Learning Management System (LMS) which supports multiple browsers. Additionally, this course is delivered in eight (8) modules of content and can be accessed at any time. The course will utilize case studies, check for understanding questions, and practice quizzes to help you better comprehend the course material. A certificate of completion will be generated after course completion. Upon class enrollment, you will receive a confirmation email to include login information to begin the course.

The  Utah 15 hour course content covers the following topics: The REPC, Contract Law, Loan Fraud, Ethics, Identity theft, Utah Mortgage Law, The Utah Residential Mortgage Practices & Licensing Act, Powers & Duties of the Division, Licensing Requirements, Licensing Procedures, License Renewal, Required Conduct, Prohibited Conduct, Standards of Practice, Investigations, Proceedings, & Penalties, The Recovery Fund, High Cost Home Loans, and The Mortgage Lending & Servicing Act.

After purchasing the course, it will load into your student account. You can log into your account at any time (24/7) to complete the course. Please note that My Mortgage Trainer does not report this course to the NMLS, as it is not NMLS-approved. This course is approved by UT-DRE, and therefore, they need to be notified of your completion. Once you finish the course, a digital copy of your certificate of completion will be issued to you. It is your responsibility to submit your certificate of completion directly to the Utah-DRE to receive credit.
