4 Hour AZ SAFE: Arizona Responsible Individual Online CE (#15068)

This course is specifically designed for Arizona mortgage
professionals who have already completed the 8 Hours of annual NMLS-approved
continuing education and need 4 more hours of education to satisfy their
Responsible Individual requirement.

As part of the mortgage banker and mortgage broker renewal
process, the responsible individual (RI) must complete 12 units (1 unit = 50
minutes) of continuing education prior to December 31st of each calendar
year.  A copy of the certificate(s) must
be sent to AZ-DIFI with the renewal checklist (which will be available on NMLS.
The certificate must show each course and units taken.

This course will cover the following topics within five
separate modules:

  • Module 1: Duties of the Responsible Individual
  • Module 2: Arizona Required Conduct
  • Module 3: Prohibited Conduct
  • Module 4: Arizona Unique Laws & Policies
  • Module 5: A Refresher on Fair Lending Laws

This 1 Hour Washington State Law Continuing Education elective
course is approved by the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) and meets Washington’s requirement for one (1) hour of Washington State
Mortgage Law.

Applicants must complete nine (9) hours of education to
include the following content:

    • Three (3) hours of federal law and regulations;
    • Two (2) hours of ethics; this has to include fraud, consumer
      protection and fair lending;
    • Two (2) hours of nontraditional mortgage products;
    • One (1) hour of elective content;
    • One (1) hour
      of instruction related to Washington State Mortgage Laws;
